Good Shepherd Quartet

October 2, 1944 - May 2, 2024

David Fannon (bass vocal), James Hartsock (tenor/guitar) Jim Clark (baritone), Donnie Sizemore (lead)

Michael "Mike" Mooney

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our longtime friend and founding member of the Good Shepherd Quartet. Mike sang bass and played bass guitar from 1983 to 2006 and did practically all of the bus driving. In the beginning, when searching for a name for the group Mike suggested Good Shepherd Quartet and we all agreed with his choice. We will forever cherish his memory and dedication to the group.

We'd like to thank each of you for your continued support of the Quartet throughout the years.

We are no longer actively singing or booking appointments, but we will cherish the many memories

and friends we have made while traveling to different events and church services

singing for the Lord. We have only been able to sing three dates since 2018

due to various members of the group having health issues, and since the outbreak of covid-19

most churches are no longer booking singing groups, so we mutually decided due to

our age and health, this might be the right time to retire.

Currently we are all well, but please keep us in your prayers and feel free to call anytime.

We always enjoy hearing from friends.
